The Atlantic Canadian Province, New Brunswick announced and updated its occupations list by adding 9 new occupations to the Express Entry Stream’s priority list. Now after new occupations addition, the new occupations list brings the number to 19.
It’s the 4th opening of New Brunswick’s Express Entry Labour Market Stream since Sep 2017. Information and communications technology Workers among some other occupations were targeted in 2017.
Here is the updated occupations list of 19 after 9 new additions (in bold letters).
he Express Entry Labour Market Stream of New Brunswick allows it to select eligible candidates in its Federal Express Entry System and invite the candidates for applying to the provincial nomination. The Express Entry candidates who will get the provincial nomination will get additional 600 scores under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
For eligibility, the candidates must have work experience in one of the occupations from the above occupations list, and must meet one of the following criteria defined by the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP):
- Candidates must be employed in New Brunswick or must have a job offer from a company of New Brunswick with designated Skills (NOC O, A, or B).
- Must have a relative (parent, grandparent, child, sister, brother, uncle, or aunt) living in New Brunswick. The relative must be 18 or 18+ years of age and have lived in the province for at least 1 year as a citizen of Canada or permanent resident.
- Candidate must demonstrate French as their first language, proven by TEF, the French Certification Exam.
You must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online to NBPNP.
The candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker Class and have scored at least 67 in FSWC Selection factors will be considered by NBPNP. All candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the New Brunswick’s express Entry Labour Market Stream.
